GENERAL QUESTIONS:

Do I have to book a space in your classes?  How do I book?

Yes, you do as spaces are limited. You can book a class by contacting me either on email or send a message through my Facebook page Lets Yoga Denmark.  The Facebook page is a great place to stay updated on any news.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes, I have a 24 hour cancellation policy, no exceptions. You will be charged for a class missed if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance of the class start time or are a no show.

Packages:  When buying a package you sign up to a set class for x-number of weeks, therefore missed classes are not refundable.

How do I pay for classes?

You can pay by MobilePay (742167), Bank Transfer (information provided upon request) or Cash.

Can I bring my belongings with me into the yoga studio?

There is ample space for your belongings just outside the yoga studio as I prefer to keep the yoga space as clutter free as possible. The yoga studio is a mobile phone free zone, they are small but take up a BIG part of our attention. We want as few distractions as possible.  All your belongings will be safe.

When should I arrive for my class?

About 5 minutes before the class starts is perfect so you are not rushing in.  And please think of your fellow classmates, don’t be late. It is very distracting.

If I buy 5 or 10 classes upfront, do I need to attend all 5 or 10 classes consecutively?

No, you can use your 5 or 10 classes whenever suits you (provided there is space).   Five class cards expire 12 weeks after date of purchase and 10 class cards expire 24 weeks after date of purchase.  I only count the weeks that I am running classes.  Remember to book your classes in advance.

Will I receive a physical class card when buying 5 or 10 classes upfront?

No, I will keep a record of when you paid for you 5 or 10 classes and keep track of your usage.  This way you don’t have to worry about forgetting the card or worse yet, losing it.  I will let you know when you are nearing the end of your pre-paid classes.

When I buy a package are classes transferable?

No.

What should I wear to class?

Comfortable clothing that you can move in. Also bring layers and warm socks so that you can stay warm for relaxation/savasana.

Can I eat in the studio?

No thanks, water only.   Breast and formula feeding are ok in the mother and baby yoga classes.

Should I eat before class?

Don’t eat anything heavy before your yoga practice, stick to light snacks and fruits or veggies.

I’m not very flexible, can I really do yoga?

I get this question a lot and the answer is always YES!  Anyone can practice yoga, regardless of flexibility.

QUESTIONS REGARDING BABIES, TODDLERS AND CHILDREN:

Can my children bring their own toys into the studio during a class?

I fully understand that young children have precious toys, but in my experience children bringing toys into the studio during a class can cause disruption, especially if another child becomes interested in your child’s very special possession. So let’s keep toys out of the studio please.  If your child is reluctant to leaving his/her toy, I will help them by providing a very special and safe place outside the studio for said toy to wait for us whilst we enjoy our yoga practice.

The exception is the mummy & baby class, you may bring a toy or toys for your baby to play with during the class.  I will also provide toys for babies to explore during the class.

What if my baby or toddler cries?

If it happens, it happens!  It is fine, they are just expressing themselves, most likely in the only way they can.  You and they will not be judged for it.

If your baby or toddler is crying and it is just too much then you are very welcome to remove yourself from the class for a little while to calm down, if you feel you need to.

What if I need to bottle or breastfeed my baby/toddler?

You are welcome to breast or bottle feed at any time if your baby or toddler is hungry or upset.  I will aim to make you as comfortable as possible.  You may miss a portion of the class but you can watch the bits you are missing and try them later at home.  Please note that other snacks and foods are not permitted in the studio.  Water is ok.

What if I need to change my baby’s or toddler’s nappy?

Babies in particular, but also toddlers usually have excellent timing when it comes to filling their nappies!  Of course you can change them during the class if you need to.

What if my toddler or child doesn’t do all the yoga poses when asked in the Family Yoga class?

This is normal!  Lead by example, enjoy the yoga practice as best you can and join in even if your child just sits next to you and observes.  Don’t try to force them to do anything.  It may not seem like it but they are watching and it is sinking in.  One day they will suddenly break out in sun salutations in the park or start chanting Om at the dinner table.  Eventually you will also notice that they are actually doing more and more of the yoga in the classes.  It’s actually pretty exciting to watch the development.
