Yoga Nidra, a Sanskrit term meaning “yogic sleep” is a deep relaxation technique and form of meditation. This 3 hour workshop will start with some gentle, slow flow yoga before we settle down for the practice of Yoga Nidra. Once you are lying comfortably, I will guide you through a deep relaxation, helping you to turn your awareness inwardly. Yoga Nidra starts with you setting a Sankalpa, or positive intention. Once your body is in deep relaxation, we will work with opposite sensations in the body as well as a guided visualisation.
I will be serving tea and light snacks after the practice to give everyone a chance to share experiences (if you want to).
This workshop is open to all levels, including teens, pregnant and post natal women.
